More than 150 years on the land

Before coffee, there was cardamom.

Kuchally’s family story in plantation agriculture began with cardamom more than 150 years ago. Coffee came later. Today it grows with pepper, cardamom and fruit trees, continuing that layered agricultural story rather than replacing it.

At approximately 3,700–3,800 feet, with around 90 inches of rain each year, the estate does not behave as one uniform plot. Every field holds a different expression of canopy, cultivation and time.

Fourth generation

Anil came home to carry the story forward.

After studying in the United States, Anil returned to Karnataka. His work brings inherited field knowledge together with closer attention to shade, soil, harvest and processing, preparing Kuchally for the generation that follows.
